Louvre Museum Opens
The Louvre Museum, which had to be closed due to a coronavirus pandemic, is starting to open its doors as part of the normalization process.
In the museum to be opened on July 6, many measures will be taken to protect the social distance. Museum officials will create a ticket reservation system. When the museum reopens, all staff and visitors will be required to wear a mask. In addition, 20 to 30 percent of the museum’s sections will be closed to viewers. “Of course, Mona Lisa will be open,” said Andre Sacristin, a representative in the planning for the reopening of the museum. Other security protocols regarding the re-opening of the Louvre will be made public in the coming weeks. Musee d’Orsay, one of the other cultural places of Paris, will open on 23 June. The Eiffel Tower will not open before the second half of June.
